AI and Automation Disclosure

    Last Updated: March 22, 2026

Havyn uses artificial intelligence and automated systems to provide certain features of the platform. This disclosure explains how AI is used and the limitations users should understand.

    How AI Is Used

Havyn uses AI-powered document parsing to automatically extract data from documents uploaded by users. This includes but is not limited to:

    • Lease agreements: extracting tenant names, rent amounts, lease dates, and terms
    • Closing statements: extracting purchase price, loan amounts, closing costs, and financial details
    • Inspection reports: extracting repair items, observations, severity ratings, and associated photos
    • Invoices and receipts: extracting vendor names, amounts, and expense categories
    • Appraisal reports: extracting appraised values and property details
    • Owner statements: extracting income and expense line items

AI is also used to extract and associate photographs from inspection reports with specific line items.

    Third-Party AI Providers

Document parsing and image extraction features are powered by third-party AI services. These may include, but are not limited to, Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, Amazon Bedrock, or other large language model providers. The specific AI provider or model used may change at any time without prior notice as Havyn updates, upgrades, or substitutes AI services to improve performance, reduce costs, or maintain operations.

When you upload a document for AI parsing, the content of that document is transmitted to the applicable third-party AI provider for processing. By using AI parsing features, you consent to this transmission regardless of which provider is used at the time of processing.

Havyn does not control the data handling practices of third-party AI providers. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of applicable AI providers if you have concerns about how your document content is processed.

    Limitations and Accuracy

AI-extracted data may be incomplete, inaccurate, misclassified, or missing entirely. Factors that may affect accuracy include:

    • Document quality, formatting, and layout
    • Handwritten or non-standard documents
    • Unusual document structures or formats
    • Complex or ambiguous financial arrangements
    • Multi-property or multi-tenant documents

ALL AI-EXTRACTED DATA MUST BE REVIEWED AND VERIFIED BY THE USER BEFORE RELYING ON IT FOR ANY PURPOSE.

Havyn provides a review interface specifically so users can verify and correct AI-extracted data before it is applied to their portfolio. Use of this review step is strongly recommended.

    No Professional Advice

AI-generated outputs do not constitute legal, financial, accounting, tax, or investment advice. Users should consult qualified professionals before making decisions based on platform-generated data.

    No Liability for AI Errors

Havyn is not liable for errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in AI-extracted data, including financial figures, tenant information, property details, or any other data extracted from uploaded documents. Users assume all risk associated with reliance on AI-generated outputs.
